Keuzestress? Brandless!

Gewoon brood. Of melk. Punt.

Merkloos maakt kiezen makkelijk

Nu is er zo’n supermarkt. Online. Beye beye keuzestress.

Overchoice? No stress; here’s Brandless!

We thirthysomethings recognize it all: we need to find our way through millions of choices every day and are therefore more pressure-sensitive than ever. Maybe this is the case for people in their twenties and forties as well. There are just too many possibilities and we want to make the right choices so incredibly bad and miss out nothing. Fortunately there is hope.

Simplifying is the answer

This society of overchoice continues and counter-movements are rising: wifi-less restaurants, silent retreats, soundproof headphones, silent chairs and more. But what if we could get some more simplicity and less choice in our daily activities in addition to conscious moments of rest? Like when shopping? What if there was a store where you could just get one thing of each. No 30 variations of one product to choose from. Just bread. Or milk.

Brandless makes choosing easy

The nice thing is that now there is such a supermarket. Online. It’s called Brandless. And although I personally welcome this initiative for the simplification, they themselves post another proposition. The brandless offering of products brings financial benefits; they bypass the ‘brand tax’ and save on packaging. Therefore, each product costs 3 dollars. In addition, all foodproducts are free from genetic modification, they don’t contain artificial additives and more than half of the food range is organic. Beye beye stress.
